Our History

Thornes & Associates is a regional securities firm with headquarters in Redlands, California. Thornes & Associates began operating in 1982 as a partnership under the name Gorian Thornes; the two principals had 22 years of prior investment experience with a major investment firm. In 1996 the partnership was dissolved and Thornes & Associates was established. The majority of our clients are in Southern California, although we represent and serve many clients throughout the country. We currently serve over 1,000 accounts and manage over $150 million in assets.
